2 More World Records Broken in Final Day of IPC European Championships

On the final day of the IPC European Championships, two world records, two Asian and one European record were broken.

Oksana Khrul of Ukraine lowered her own S6 50 butterfly world record tonight. She touched in 35.48, over a half second faster than the 36.05 she posted at the 2012 Olympic Games. Second place finisher Eleanor Robinson finished in 35.66, also under the old record.

Valeriia Shabalina of Russia touched in 2:18.37 in the SM14 women’s 200 IM. That time was nearly three seconds quicker than her own 2:21.33 world record from July 2015.
