With the halfway point of the swimming competition at the Olympic Games fast approaching, Swimming World’s David Rieder and SwimVortex’s John Lohn again sat down in the Main Press Center recap the past two nights’ finals and to preview what is to come on night four.

Rieder and Lohn broke down what made the three individual world records—Sarah Sjostrom in the women’s 200 free, Adam Peaty in the men’s 100 breast and Katie Ledecky in the women’s 400 free—so impressive, and also discussed statement gold medal-winning swims by Ryan Murphy in the men’s 100 back and Lilly King in the women’s 100 breast.

The pair also explained which countries have momentum right now and which do not and discussed what is to come from Sjostrom, Ledecky, Michael Phelps, Katinka Hosszu and other big names in Tuesday’s finals, which get underway at 10 p.m. local time in Rio.
