Andrew Sheaff Promoted to Mens Associate Head Coach at Northwestern

EVANSTON, Ill. — Northwestern University men’s swimming and diving head coach Jarod Schroeder has announced the promotion of Andrew Sheaff to the position of associate head coach.

Sheaff’s first season as associate head coach will mark his fifth year with the program since coming over from Bucknell in 2012. During his tenure as an assistant coach at Northwestern, Sheaff has helped a pair of standout swimmers reach the NCAA Championships, including

Chase Stephens (2013) and Jordan Wilimovsky (2013-15). Sheaff has also played an instrumental role in leading the team’s sprint program.

“Andrew has done an outstanding job for our program over the past four years,” Schroeder said. “He has revamped our recruiting tactics, spearheaded our team building efforts, and has successfully guided our sprint program during his time at Northwestern. He challenges our athletes every day to critically think about their approach and find ways to improve. He has a great mind for the sport and strives to make our program better on a daily basis.”
