Anton Ipsen clipped Mads Glaesner in the men’s 400-meter free, 3:48.39 to 3:48.42, as both swimmers cleared the FINA A cut in the process at the 2016 Danish Open. Â Joan Casanovas rounded out the top three with a time of 3:52.19.
Josefine Pedersen took down the Dutch Junior Record in the women’s 50-meter breast with a 32.22 before matching time time in finals for the win. Â Anouk Elzerman claimed second with a 32.40, while Matilde Schroder snared third in 32.57.
Pernille Blume claimed the women’s 100-meter free in a time of 54.46, just missing the FINA A cut in 54.43. Magdalena Kuras touched second overall in a time of 55.70 with Julie Kepp Jensen finishing third in 55.71.
Magnus Jakupsson touched first in the men’s 100-meter back with a time of 55.46, while Andreas Schiellerup placed second in a time of 55.90. Â Andreas Elmgreen closed out the top three in a 57.03.
