At the Crimson Hawk Invitational this Friday and Saturday, Bloomsburg mens and women teams  took first overall. It was a close meet between the Huskies and the Crimson Hawks on both sides, with the Huskies winning the men’s meet 600.7-684.5 and the women’s 574.7-565.0.
The men’s duel meet scores were Indiana University of PA 283.00 vs Gannon University 1:03.00; Â Bloomsburg University 216.00 vs Indiana University of PA 177.00;Â Bloomsburg University 266.00 vs Gannon University 99.00.
The Huskies took first place in all of the relays this weekend the 200 freestyle relay (1:21.41), 400 medley relay (3:29.82), 200 medley relay (1:35.42) and 400 freestyle relay (3:08.12). The Crimson Hawk men took the top two spots in the 500 freestyle with Alex Plimpton winning with a 4:49.54 and Chris Strauss (4:52.97) taking second.
