Christine Rasiles Big Day Propels C Connecticut In NE Champs

There were only four events on day four of the Northeast Conference Championships. Central Connecticut has the team lead with 251 points. Wagner is in second, followed by LIU Brooklyn, Bryant, St. Francis, Sacred Heart, St. Francis College (New York) and Mount St. Mary’s.

St. Francis University’s Katie Lafferty won the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:53.19. She was followed by Central Connecticut’s Aidan Devers, who posted a time of 4:58.00. Wagner’s Maggie Shaw earned a bronze medal with a time of 5:02.65.

In the 200-yard individual medley, Wagner’s Anu Nihipali touched first in 2:03.69. She was followed by Central Connecticut’s Stephanie Czulewicz, who touched in 2:05.65. Czulewicz’s teammate, Maddy Garber, touched third with a time of 2:06.01.
