Columbia Sectionals Conclude as Michael Andrew Grabs Two More Titles

The final night of Columbia Speedo Sectionals was full of strong wins in every event. Notably, Michael Andrew, who began the meet yesterday, picked up two more wins in both of his events. Additionally, Rockford’s Lauren Votava further showcased her dominance, winning the 50 freestyle to bring her total to four.

The night kicked off with the final heats of the women’s and men’s miles. On the women’s side. CSP Tideriders’ Alexis Daniels picked up the win by a solid seven seconds with a time of 17:20.46. Taking second to her was Lincoln Select’s Jessica Storer, who finished in 17:27.43. Third place went to Katherine Sullivan of the Kansas City Blazers, whose time was 17:30.61.
