Daria K. Ustinova wasted little time in the women’s 200-meter back at the 2016 Russian Nationals.
Ustinova unleashed a sizzling time of 2:06.92 in the event, jumping her to third in the world behind only Belinda Hocking (2:06.49) and Emily Seebohm (2:06.59). Â Ustinova also easily cleared the Russian Olympic selection time of 2:09.70.
Anastasia Fesikova took second overall in 2:08.74 to move to 11th in the world and grab the second Olympic roster spot.
Irina Prikhodko snared third in a time of 2:09.51, that cleared the Russian selection time, but was not good enough to beat Fesikova.
