Day 2 of PCSC Championships Begin

On day two of the Pacific Collegiate Swim Conference Championships began with the prelims swims of the men’s and women’s 500 freestyle, 200 IM and 50 freestyle.

In the women’s 500 freestyle UC San Diego had the top four fastest times. Haley Hamza, who won the 1000 free last night, had the fastest time of the morning with a 4:59.36. Teammates Stephanie Sin came in second with a 5:00.64 and Reagan Eickert touched the wall third (5:01.10).

UC San Diego men also had the fastest three times of the morning in the 500 freestyle. Chandler Pourvahidi finished first with a 4:28.02. Kevin Fink came in second with a 4:30.00 and Michael Cohn touched in third with a 4:31.00.
