Duke was victorious in their first meet of 2016 against South Carolina. The meet was close on the men’s side as the No. 22 ranked Blue Devil men defeated the No. 19 Gamecocks 154-146.
On the women’s side, Duke won with 187 points to South Carolina’s 113. With this win, Duke remains undefeated in dual meet action.
Mack Willborn was the top female Duke diver of the meet. She registered a third place showing in the women’s 3m (271.73) and dove to second place in the 1m event (312.83). Josh Owsiany was the top male Duke diver, placing second in both the 3m (378.38) and the 1m (315.45).
