Evgeny Rylov vaulted to fourth in the world rankings in the men’s 200-meter back at the 2016 Russian Nationals.
Rylov claimed the top time heading into finals with a time of 1:55.43. Â That swim put him behind only Mitch Larkin (1:53.90), Xu Jiayu (1:54.79) and Ryan Murphy (1:54.94) this year.
Grigoriy Tarasevich also cleared the Russian Olympic qualifying time of 1:57.71 with a second-seeded 1:57.63 ouf ot semifinal 1.
