Fabian Schwingenschlogl Kara Kopcso Shine In LSUMissouri Dual

The No. 23 Louisiana State women continued their hot streak, knocking off No. 19 Missouri by a score of 164-136 in Baton Rouge. The win improved LSU’s record to 9-0, 2-0 within the Southeastern Conference.  

LSU was not so lucky on the men’s side. No. 10 Missouri took the victory by a score of 155.5-141.5.

Missouri started off strong, winning the 200-yard medley relay on both the men’s and women’s side. The women’s team of backstroker Nadine Laemmler, breaststroker Abby Duncan, butterflier Maddie Gehrke and freestyler Rachel Hayden beat LSU by nine-hundredths of a second, posting a winning time of 1:40.99.

On the men’s side, Missouri’s team of backstroker Dillon Love, breaststroker Fabian Schwingenschlogl, butterflier Andrew Sansoucie and freestyler Michael Chadwick touched in 1:29.12. LSU was just behind them, finishing in 1:29.37.
