Felipe Lima Among Top Qualifiers At Day Two Prelims Of Doha World Cup

Day two of the Doha stop of the 2016 FINA World Cup Series continued with many swimmers setting themselves up to defend their titles from the Dubai stop of the series.

Felipe Lima and Vladimir Morozov will square off again in finals of the men’s 100 breaststroke. Lima returns as the first place seed with a 1:00.11, while Morozov is second with a 1:00.47. Marco Koch sits close behind with a 1:00.54.

Morozov also returns in the 50 free (21.74) where he will look for his sixth consecutive win for the 2016 FINA World Cup Series. Bradley Tandy returns as the top seed with a 21.67.

Jeanette Ottesen will look to defend her crown in finals of the women’s 100 free. Ottesen qualified first with a 53.66, followed by a close qualification of 53.69 from Katinka Hosszu.
