Italy’s Luca Dotto (48.03), Luca Leonardi (48.47), Jonathan Boffa (49.21) and Filippo Magnini (48.58) touched out Belgium’s Glenn Surgeloose (48.75), Jasper Aerents (49.31), Dieter Dekoninck (48.87) and Pieter Timmers (47.37) by the slimmest of margins, 3:14.29 to 3:14.30.
