TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – First-year Florida State swimming and diving head coach Neal Studd announced the 2016-17 season schedule on Tuesday.
The slate contains nine contests for women and eight for men, including three ACC opponents in addition to two diving invites and the Georgia Fall Invitational.
“This schedule will present some challenges for us,†Studd said. “Between dual meets and invitationals we will be up against some very talented and ranked teams and it should really test our team. I think this crop of competition will help us prepare for ACC’s and NCAA’s.â€
The Seminoles will host two meets at the Morcom Aquatics Center, first welcoming ACC foe Duke and Minnesota on Oct. 8 at 2 p.m. Both FSU squads fell at Duke in 2015-16, however split with Minnesota as the men edged out the Gophers, 158-142 in Tallahassee.
