The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) have named their 2015-2016 Academic All-America At Large teams, and 88 swimmers and divers were honored.
Last month, over 100 swimmers and divers were named to All District Teams. The At Large teams are comprised of these athletes. A swimmer was named the Academic All-American of the Year at each of the four levels.
Alabama’s Anton McKee was named the Division I Men’s Academic All-American of the year. The junior is a three time All-American and has a 4.0 GPA. Joining him on the men’s Division I first team is his teammate Conor Oslin. Miami Ohio’s Evan Bader, Texas’ Cory Bowersox, Gardner-Webb’s Nathan Lile, Cal’s Ryan Murphy, and Georgia’s Ty Stewart are also first team honorees.
Eric Ebert of Niagra is on the second team alongside Alabama’s Pavel Romanov and Michigan’s PJ Ransford. Third team honorees include Ryan Bailey of the U.S. Naval Academy and South Dakota State’s Weston Christensen.
