Greece’s Apostolos Christou led the way in the men’s 100-meter back at the 2016 European Championships.
Christou clocked in with a time of 53.36 to move up to 12th in the world rankings this year.
Grigory Tarasevich of Russia posted a 53.70 for the second seed. Â Tarasevich is ranked fifth in the world with a 53.03 from Russian Nationals.
