Grigory Tarasevich won the men’s sprint back with a time of 24.70 at the 2016 Russian Nationals. Â That swim put him second in the world behind only Camille Lacourt’s 24.67.
Nikita Ulyanov took second overall in 24.82 to move to fifth in the world rankings, while Evgeny Rylov placed third in 25.06 for eighth in the world.
Mark Nikolaev (25.40), Anton Butymov (25.43), Alexey Rudenko (25.70), Kliment Kolesnikov (25.89) and Roman Larin (26.06) also swam in the finale.
