NCAP’s Katie Ledecky turned in the second-fastest 200-meter freestyle this year at the 2016 Arena Pro Swim Series Orlando.
Ledecky, after posting a lifetime best time of 1:54.43 at the Arena Pro Swim Series in Austin to become the fourth-fastest performer all time, blazed her way to a 1:55.73 tonight. Â That’s faster than the second-ranked 1:55.96 posted by Emma McKeon earlier this year in Australia.
Colorado Stars’ Missy Franklin, who is looking to get back to her dominant ways, finished second in 1:57.67. Â That’s just off her eighth-ranked season best of 1:57.49 from Austin as well.
