Kristian Gkolomeev Comes Up Big At Georgia Tech

It was a good day for the Alabama men’s 200-yard medley relay.

The relay team of backstroker Connor Oslin, breaststroker Pavel Romanov, butterflier Brett Walsh and freestyler Kristian Gkolomeev won the event with an NCAA ‘A’ qualifying time of 1:24.49. The team was led by a 18.75 freestyle split from Gkolomeev. The Crimson Tide’s relay was the only ‘A’ time standard of the evening.

Florida Gulf Coast won the women’s 200-yard medley relay. The team finished with a time of 1:38.90 and was made up of backstroker Elise Haan, breaststroker Katie Armitage, butterflier Yee Ching Wong and freestyler Katie Latham.

Mia Nonnenberg of Alabama won the women’s 400-yard individual medley, finishing with a time of 4:07.53. South Carolina’s Tom Peribonio won the men’s 400-yard individual medley event by over three seconds.
