Leah Smith Dominates 1650 On Final Day Of Georgia Invite

Virginia’s Leah Smith made sure to make her mark early on day three of the University of Georgia Fall Invitational. She posted a time of 15:39.56 in the 1650-yard freestyle, 13 seconds under the NCAA ‘A’ time standard.

California’s Nick Norman won the men’s event in 14:52.66. He won by nearly six seconds over Georgia’s Matias Koski.

Virginia’s Courtney Bartholomew continued her strong meet in the 200-yard backstroke. She posted a time of 1:49.63, an ‘A’ time standard by nearly two seconds. California’s Ryan Murphy dominated the men’s event. He posted a time of 1:38.35, an ‘A’ time standard. He won by a half second over teammate Jacob Pebley.
