Lindsey Clary and the Ohio State Swim Club Women Add to Their Success on Night 2 in Columbus

After a strong showing on the first day, the Ohio State Swim Club women were not quite as dominate tonight, but still had strong wins in the 400 meter IM and 400 meter free relay during the day 2 finals.

The night consisted of many close races, which started off with the women’s 200 meter free where Zoe Thatcher beat out Sophie Skinner of the Northern Kentucky Clippers by a little over half a second. Thatcher clocked in a time of 2:02.86 while Skinner finished at 2:03.41. Katherine Trace of Upper Arlington Swim Club touched third shortly after Skinner at 2:04.47.

As for the men’s 200 meter free, Joshua Fleagle touched first a full second ahead of Brendan Meyer, finishing at 1:50.20, while Meyer touched at 1:51.27. Nicholas Smith, Meyer’s teammate at the Clippers was third at 1:52.22.
