MIT Wins Three Events To Begin NEWMAC Championships

The 2016 NEWMAC Championships began on Feb. 18 at the MIT Zesiger Sports and Fitness Center. MIT asserted their dominance early on, winning all three events.

The MIT relay team of Addie Chambers (1:51.94), Theresa Lo (1:56.03), Kate Yu (1:57.15), and Veronica Jedryka (1:51.95) won the women’s 800 free relay in 7:37.07.

Springfield’s Kassandra Lamb (1:56.45), Delaney Dyjak (1:54.81), Olivia Paione (1:54.42), and Callie Phillips (1:52.78) weren’t too far behind, finishing in 7:38.46.
