Mallory Comerford Trevor Carroll Lead Louisville Past Florida State

Louisville and Florida State met for a two-day meet in Tallahassee. Whereas FSU competed against Florida last weekend, this was Louisville’s first meet in the new year. On the men’s side, the Cards defeated the Seminoles 203-150. The Louisville women won with 238 points to Florida State’s 115.

The first day of competition at the Bobby E. Leach Center began with with the 200 free relay. On the women’s side, Louisville’s team of Andrea Kneppers, Kelsi Worrell, Mallory Comerford, and Andrea Cottrell won in 1:32.29. Florida State’s team of Jason McCormick, Kanoa Kaleoaloha, Chad Mylin, and Ian Apple won the men’s event in 1:20.59.

Louisville went 1-2-3 in the women’s 200 IM, with freshman Rachael Bradford-Feldman winning in 2:02.56. The Cards also grabbed the top three spots in the men’s 200 IM, led by Nolan Tesone in 1:47.46.
