Max Levy Wins Mens 3 Meter to Kick Off NCAC Action

By Cathleen Pruden, Swimming World College Intern

North Coast Athletic Conference Championship action began tonight at the Trumbull Aquatics Center at Denison University. The Big Red men and women are both looking to win their eighth straight Conference titles.

The only event of the night was men’s three meter diving. With the graduation of NCAC and NCAA Division 3 record holder, Conor Dignan, there was an opportunity for a new winner this year. Denison entered the event with the top four seeds, and emerged with the top three finishers.

Junior Max Levy was the first conference champion of the weekend, finishing with a score of 563.40. Brian Allen was the runner up with a score of 519.75. Ben Lewis rounded out the top three with 506.35 points.
