Maya DiRado Vaults to 4th in World in 400 IM

Stanford’s Maya DiRado cranked out a winning time in the women’s 400-meter IM at the 2016 Arena Pro Swim Series Orlando.

DiRado turned in a time of 4:36.82 for the win.  That vaulted her to fourth in the world this year behind only Katinka Hosszu (4:32.25), Aimee Willmott (4:34.82) and Sakiko Shimizu (4:35.04).

Vien Nguyen of Vietnam placed second overall in 4:39.64. She owns the Vietnamese record with a 4:38.78 from last year’s Worlds.
