No. 20 LSU women continued its strong season against Houston, Rice and Tulane in a two-day quad meet. The Tigers improved their record to 12-1.
LSU defeated Houston by a score of 224-129, Rice 280-67 and Tulane 266-87.
The Tigers started off the meet with a win in the 200-yard medley relay. Backstroker Haylee Knight, breaststroker Colleen O’Neil, butterflier Leah Troskot and freestyler Danielle Stirrat posted a time of 1:42.94.
The Tigers were led by Megan Cox. The senior took home two relay wins and also finished first in the 100-yard butterfly (55.34) and 200-yard butterfly (1:59.38).
