Missouri Breaststrokers Georgia Butterfliers Shine In Prelims

It was a good morning to be a Georgia butterfly or Missouri breaststroker.

In the women’s 200-yard butterfly preliminary race, Georgia swimmers touched in first and second place. Hali Flickinger led the way for the Bulldogs, posting a time of 1:52.33. Her teammate, Megan Kingsley, finished second and Texas A&M’s Sarah Gibson was third.

Georgia’s Pace Clark led the way in the men’s race, touching in 1:40.70. Gunnar Bentz was third for the Bulldogs. Auburn’s Hugo Morris touched in second place.
