California’s Nathan Adrian vaulted to second in the world in the men’s 100-meter free at the 2016 Arena Pro Swim Series Orlando.
Adrian won the 100 free by a full body length with a smoking fast time of 48.05. Â That swim moved him to second in the world behind only Cameron McEvoy’s 47.56 from the Aquatic Super Series.
Adrian’s previous best had been a sixth-ranked 48.91 from the Austin stop.
