Joseph Schooling, a junior at the University of Texas, made history this past August when he became the first ever Olympic athlete from Singapore to win a gold medal at an Olympic Games.
In the wake of his Olympic success Schooling has announced the publishing of a book of photos titled Hello, My Name Is Joseph Schooling. The book will be 96-pages and is expected to be released into major bookstores approximately late next week.
Creating the book was a family project with parents Colin and May lending assistance throughout the process. Photojournalists Alvin Toh and Tay Kay Chin captured the photos, which aim to show the “never-before-seen” side of Schooling and his journey to Olympic gold.
Schooling officially announced the book on Facebook just yesterday on his Facebook page and on the newly created book’s page, titled “The Schooling Effect,” noting that the book has gone to print. The post continues with a statement from Schooling,
