The twelve-time Olympic medalist has dealt with protesters, a sub-par performance in Rio, and a scandal on Brazilian soil accompanying his name whenever in the news.
Despite all the negativity surrounding Lochte in the post-weeks of the Olympic Games the Olympic star has rebounded on a different platform: the dance floor.
His announcement that he would be a cast member of the 23rd season of the popular television show “Dancing With The Stars” was flanked by the continuing coverage of what many now refer to as #LochteGate. However, he did not let this get him down appearing excited about his upcoming role on the show and his new partnership with professional dancer Cheryl Burke.Â
