Sarah Gibson Leads Texas AM Against Rice

The No. 7 Texas A&M women wrapped up the first half of their season against the Rice Owls on Saturday. The Aggies won the meet 160-100.

The day started with the 200-yard medley relay. The Aggies won with a time of 1:42.89. Their team consisted of Beryl Gastaldello, Jorie Caneta, Sarah Gibson and Lexie Lupton.

In the 1000-yard freestyle, the Aggies’ Colleen Konetzke brought home the win with a time of 10:07.47, nearly three seconds ahead of Rice’s Hanna Huston.

Gibson picked up another victory in the 200-yard freestyle. The junior posted a time of 1:50.63.
