Seven Recruits Sign With Michigan Women

The Michigan Wolverines announced that six swimmers and one diver signed national letters of intent from the high school class of 2016.

Swimming World took a deeper look into three of the team’s recruits with the most potential.

Emily Eastin

Eastin is the seventh recruit from the state of California and the 49th recruit nationally, according to collegeswimming.com. She will help the Wolverines most in the 100-yard backstroke. Her best times include a 53.54 in the 100-yard backstroke and 1:58.04 in the 200-yard backstroke. She also goes a 54.24 in the 100-yard butterfly. She has been a finalist in the 100-yard backstroke at both the USA Swimming Junior National Championships (2013) and the Speedo Junior National Championships (2013, 2014).
