South Carolina Coach Kevin Swander Answers Ed Moses With Trials Cut Of His Own

Kevin Swander, an assistant coach with South Carolina, felt inspired today after 35-year-old Ed Moses turned in an Olympic Trials cut yesterday with reportedly little training in the past four years.

Swander, a three-time Olympic Trials finalist and World University Games gold medalist, who last competed at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials put up a 1:02.18 in the men’s 100-meter breast as part of the Carolina Aquatics May Breakout Meet today.

Swander, now 32, last swam at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials where he clocked a 1:00.98 and a 1:01.56 in the men’s 100-meter breast.
