In the men’s synchronized 10m diving China’s Chen Aisen and Lin Yue took home the second diving gold, coming in above David Boudia and Steele Johnson (USA), and Tom Daly and Daniel Goodfellow (GBR).
Going into the event as a strong favorite, China solidified their gold medal in the fifth round with a front four and a half that was almost impeccable. The low score on both execution and synchronization was a 9.5, and they pulled in a grand total of 106.56 points leaving them with a comfortable lead headed into the final round.
