Saturday’s preliminaries at the America East Conference Championships started with the 400-yard individual medley. New Hampshire’s Brittany Driscoll set the pace with a time of 4:21.63. She was followed by Maryland, Baltimore County’s Aleasha Knight and New Hampshire’s Bridget Miller.
Binghamton’s Selina Ng took the top spot in the 100-yard butterfly, posting a time of 55.71. Maryland, Baltimore County’s Catherine Frediani was second and Jess Harper of New Hampshire was third.
The next preliminary race was the women’s 200-yard freestyle. New Hampshire’s Liza Baykova was first in the heats with a time of 1:50.59. She was followed by Maryland, Baltimore County’s Kristie Langford and New Hampshire’s Brittany Moffatt.Â
