Anthony Ervin returns to his third Olympics in the 50 freestyle and on the 400 freestyle relay.
The 35 year old started to believe in his potential to race the best in the world at the start of his college career. However, Ervin also remembers the first swim when his parents and coaches recognized that he was a strong swimmer.
Ervin spoke extensively about the coaches who have played a roll in his extensive swimming career, including Dave Durden in his comeback and most recently David Marsh.
