Shortly after the conclusion of the second evening of finals at Olympic Trials in Omaha, Neb., Swimming World‘s David Rieder and SwimVortex’s John Lohn broke down every result of the evening, including the three finals and four semifinals.
Rieder and Lohn shared their thoughts on the breakthrough performances by Kelsi Worrell and Leah Smith as well as the near-world records performances that Katie Ledecky, Ryan Murphy and David Plummer all showed off.
The two also shared their thoughts on struggling superstars Missy Franklin and Ryan Lochte and looked ahead to Michael Phelps finally making his Trials debut Tuesday.
