Ukraine’s Daryna Zevina paced semis in the women’s 200-meter back at the 2016 European Championships.
Zevina claimed the top seed heading into finals in a time of 2:08.66. Â That put her 11th in the world rankings with the swim.
Croatia’s Matea Samardzic qualified second with a time of 2:09.87, while Hungary’s Katinka Hosszu backed up her 400 IM meet record with a third-seeded 2:09.98 in semis of the 200 back.
