JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The North Florida women’s swimming team unveiled its 2016-17 schedule. The slate includes a pair of home meets in the month of October.
To kick off the 2016-17 season, the Ospreys will have select swimmers participate in the CSCAA Collegiate Open Water Championship at Lone Star Lake near the University of Kansas. North Florida will begin dual meet action on Oct. 8 when they host Gardner-Webb and Florida Atlantic at Episcopal High School.
“We always look at ways to challenge our swimmers and the quality of this schedule we hope brings out the best in them,” said 2016 Coastal Collegiate Sports Association co-Coach of the Year, Ian Coffey. “We want to build on the success of last year and continue to reach new heights for this program.”
Last season the Ospreys erased eight school records and scored 470 points at the CCSA Championships, the second highest total in school history.
