The two point to the excitement of the roller coaster weekend, and the knowledge that things needed to go perfectly for them to win. Flickinger calls the win a total team effort, and explains that certain girls stepping up who weren’t supposed to score was what made the difference. Smoliga discusses the road from a disappointing loss at SEC’s to this emotional win. The women also discuss how much their coach Jack Bauerle means to them, and the excitement of moving forward toward Trials.
