After her morning swim in the 50 free at Olympic Trials, Kathleen Baker took a few minutes to speak with Swimming World about what has been an eventful week. Baker qualified for the Olympic team in the 100 back Tuesday night and then scratched both the 200 back and 200 IM.
After the 50 free, Baker discussed her week and what it now means to hold the title of Olympian. She also explained that she has gotten back into hard training and described the emotions of watching many of her teammates at SwimMAC and Cal have both stellar swims and disappointing swims.
