Video Interview Kelsi Worrell Emotional and Excited After Qualifying for Rio

Kelsi Worrell has punched her ticket to Rio after finishing first in the women’s 100 fly in a quick 56.48. Her time, a best by four tenths, is the second fastest in the world this year.

Although Dana Vollmer was out fast the first 50, Worrell cruised home to touch the wall first. Vollmer finished second in 57.21 to make her third Olympic team.

Worrell, who trains with the University of Louisville under head coach Arthur Albiero, exploded onto the international scene last year and is the current American Record holder in the 100 fly in both short course yards and short course meters.
