Virginia Women Win 9thConsecutive ACC Championships

Virginia won their ninth-consecutive ACC title at the 2016 Women’s ACC Swimming and Diving Championships, a new conference record. The Cavaliers finished with 1332.5 points.

Virginia junior Leah Smith highlighted the final night of competition, setting a new NCAA record in the 1000 en route to breaking the NCAA record in the 1650. She also won the 500 free earlier in the meet.
