Due to the inclement weather last weekend, Virginia travelled to Chapel Hill on Friday to take on North Carolina and NC State in a double dual.
The No. 8 Wolfpack men defeated the No. 19 Tar Heels 186-112 and the No. 21 Cavaliers 222-78. The Tar Heels beat the Cavaliers 201.50-98.50. On the women’s side, No. 3 Virginia beat No. 12 NC State 154.50-145.50 and No. 14 North Carolina 178-122. NC State beat North Carolina 162-138.
The meet began with the NC State women (1:38.99) just out touching Virginia in the women’s 200 medley relay. The Wolfpack men (1:27.05) won the men’s event.
