The AA Pennsylvania High School Championships began today. The meet is being held at Bucknell University. The men’s and women’s 200 medley relay, 200 freestyle, 200 IM, 50 free, 100 fly and 200 free relay were swam. The women’s 200 medley and 200 free relay PIAA records were broken.
In the 200 medley relay Grove City took gold in the time of 1:33.94 with their team of Austin Wilson (22.82), Thomas Somora (26.30), Rockwell Pokrant (22.64) and Devin Reynolds (22.18). IN second was Wyomissing (1:37.66) with Nathan Elzer (24.12), Charlie Tonneslan (27.08), Chip Schroder (24.43) and Shuyang Wen (22.03). With a 1:38.60 for third place was Trinity’s squad of Andy Snyder (25.50), Zack Gallagher (27.97), Jordan Wyant (23.66) and Lucas Haywood (21.37).
Salisbury’s Mahlon Reihman won the men’s 200 freestyle in the time of 1:38.82. In second was Connor Killion of Lower Moreland with a 1:41.20 and with a 1:42.77 for bronze was Austin Wilson of Grove City.
