Brittany MacLean Downs Canadian Record in 200 Free With 15694

Brittany MacLean unleashed a Canadian record time in the women’s 200-meter free by winning in 1:56.94 at the 2016 Canadian Trials.

That swim clipped Genevieve Saumur’s 2009 national record of 1:56.97, and clinched MacLean another spot on the Olympic roster.

MacLean has been on fire since having an unbelievable meet for the University of Georgia at the 2016 NCAA Division I Women’s Championships.
