Pittsburgh’s Dominic Giordano gave his program its first NCAA title ever with a win in the men’s three-meter diving event at the 2016 NCAA Division I Men’s Championships.
Giordano won the three-meter event with 460.30 points. Â Miami’s Briadam Herrera, who shook off a potential balk with an appeal to the judges, took second with 457.65 points.
Texas’ Cory Bowersox claimed third overall with 420.50 points.
