The Nashville Speedo Sectional Championships concluded this evening. The men’s and women’s 1500 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 200 backstroke, and 200 IM were swam. Dynamo Swim Club won both the men’s and women’s meet.
Dynamo’s Emma Layton, who was the winner of the 800 free, won the women’s 1500 freestyle. She touched in at a 17.11.27, more than twenty seconds faster than the rest of her competition. Paige Kelly, unattached, came in second place with a 17:31.36 and Abby Grottle of Dynamo came in third place with a 17:36.69.
