Three new Olympic Trials cuts were earned in the final session of the Speedo Sectionals in Jenks, Oklahoma. Two swimmers also won double events Sunday night.
Laura Galarza earned the Olympic Trials cut in the 50 freestyle, finishing in 26.06. Second place Anna Miller of Rockwood was just a hundredth short of the qualifying time, touching in 26.20. Megan Keil of the Wichita Aqua Shocks finished third in 26.30.
In the men’s splash and dash, the top two swimmers were under the Trials cut. Paul Le led the way in 23.13, with Northland United’s Marcin Glebocki just behind him in 23.19. Mitchell Forde finished third in 23.39.
